Synopsis

The cheerful boy Menino takes you on a journey through a beautiful animated world, inspired by Brazil. He grows up happily in lush nature. But one day his father leaves for the city to look for work. The desire to see his father again is so intense that he starts looking for him. He travels through fantastic landscapes and strange cities. He encounters machines like elephants and travels with ships like birds. It is a magical, unique and original world. Enchanting by her imagination and richness of colours, supported by the beautiful, swinging music. But the film also depicts the filmmaker's view of the soulless process of mass production and the consequences of globalization. Menino's search for his father, probably one of those unnamed laborers he meets, is moving and exciting. Right up to the surprising and emotional end.
