It’s nighttime. The castle grounds are bathed in moonlight. A bat swoops by without a sound. The clock strikes twelve and it’s haunting time. In the kitchen, Papa Ghost is getting ready for a busy night of spooky work.
He shows Laban his scariest ghost noises. The little ghost wants to sound scary too, but no matter how he tries, he sounds cute. Mama Ghost has an idea: Maybe Laban could get those moans and groans just right if he went up to the castle and scared someone for real? So Laban tries to scare Little Prince, the King and the Queen, only they aren’t frightened at all, they’re just happy to see him.
